Another illustration: On a hot summer’s day, you are standing at an intersection with a man you admire. Another man drives up to you in his open convertible and reports that he only has gas left for 50 miles, that his cell phone is without a battery charge, that he forgot the charger and that he drove over the signs regarding the intersection. He asks for information whether he should drive right, left or straight ahead to get to the very nearby town, where he is urgently awaited. The man you admire sends him to the left. After this advice, the man turns left and thanks him. The admirer doesn’t dare to say anything at first, but then points out that he should have turned right and is now driving into the desert, where the next city is over 150 miles away and he gets stuck in the desert and possibly dies of thirst.. It was the wrong decision!
The admired says that he is still respected and can ultimately do anything he wants without the general admiration for him disappearing.
This fabricated story makes it clear that lies can lead to wrong decisions and kill. Now to a real story that already kills millions of people worldwide every year:
Imagine that on a cloudless sunny day you are sitting on a bench with a good view of the surroundings and suddenly a large aircraft carrier weighing about 100,000 tons appears in the sky. He floats in the sky and comes towards you. However, it is not the only one, but exactly the same size comes behind until a total of around 370,000 such heavy aircraft carriers float past you, so that the sun is obscured. If you don’t see the sun anymore and you know that the last few decades there have been similarly large quantities and that it is not decreasing, and that another 740,000 will be added in just two more years, will you continue to assume that it makes no difference? This situation is very threatening and cannot be ignored.
The largest aircraft carrier in the USA, the USS Gerald R. Ford, was commissioned in 2017. It is about 330 m long and has a crew of about 4,500 people. In total, it weighs around 100,000 tons.
Global CO2 emissions in 2022 will be around 37 gigatonnes. These are
37,000,000,000 tons. If you divide this by 100,000 tons, you get
370,000. So, there would be 370,000 such aircraft carriers added every year to the others that already exist.
Every year, scientists record how much CO2 is released into the atmosphere by humans. CO2 has a residence time of over 100 years in the atmosphere. This makes it clear that in the last 3 years alone, for example, well over 1,000,000 large aircraft carriers have been brought into the air and will remain there for over 100 years. And this is only related to the largest proportion of climate-damaging gases, i.e. CO2 without for example methane and nitrous oxide etc…
These are unimaginably large quantities, and they are increasing from year to year. These are very clear facts. Thousands of researchers around the world have collected, measured and calculated data over decades and they all have the same results: Humans are changing the climate in the world, so that there has been a clearly measurable increase in the global average temperature and the climate is changing as a result.
The IPCC, i.e. the “Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change”, was founded in 1988 by the United Nations Environment Program and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) as an intergovernmental organization. 195 governments are members, and more than 190 various other organizations are registered as observers.
Thousands of scientists around the world agree that humans are changing the global climate through the production of so-called greenhouse gases, which include methane and others in addition to CO2.
There is also a global consensus that this global and very serious crisis must be counteracted, and emissions of greenhouse gases reduced.
There is only one overpowering man in the USA, Trump and as well Vance andtheir followers in the Republican Party who think it’s all fabricated and declare it a big fraud.
It is outrageous to deny scientific results, which are checked and discussed every year worldwide at the highest level and with a lot of effort, in this extreme form.
But if a future American president is not able to analyze and recognize a threat at all, how can such a man lead an entire nation? This then becomes a highly dangerous catastrophic disaster.
And people are dying: The recent storms in USA were not a hoax.
Trump/ Vance and all the lies of their followers are responsible of not giving the people the right understanding they need for a decision to vote. And they are responsible of not preventing damages to the people in taking measures, which are needed. Instead of this, they continue to lie, which costs lifes and causes devastation. On 4. November 2020, Trump withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement. Biden signed the re-entering of this Agreement immediately after he was in office in 2021.
But what is behind Trump’s lie?
So far, it has been worked out here that Trump relies massively on the creation of anxiety in his strategy and from this in his followers directs the energies anger and outrage arising from it to his opponents and recommends himself as a saviour in need.
Over 1,000,000 aircraft carriers in the air in 3 years and there is more and more every year: This can not only create anxiety, but it must create completely justified anxiety, because it is life-threatening in the effects for the people of the USA. This fear should then lead to concrete measures.
Extreme weather events are already increasing sharply. Due to the higher temperatures, the landscapes are drying out and the fires in the forests will become more violent and larger. At the same time, ever more violent storms rise from such a heated climate, whipping through the land like apocalyptic horsemen and bringing devastation and death to the people in storms and floods. The recent examples in the south of USA is abundantly clear how much we have already gotten into more and more extreme weather conditions because of climate change, and then there is this highly incompetent presidential candidate who, out of his ignorant arrogance and political ambitions for power, does not protect people, but lies to them and even forces an entire party into these lies through loyalty. It must always be repeated: Trump has replaced truth with loyalty, and that is extremely dangerous in every respect. J.D Vance and many others support this and are just as dangerous.
The higher temperatures therefore lead to worse droughts as well as worse floods and e.g. Harricans. These are increasingly depressing facts that appear in the news year after year and cause increasingly depressing damage in the USA as well as worldwide.
So why does Donald Trump deny these absolutely irrefutable facts:
It is clear that the “Democratic Party”, especially under “Al Gore”, who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize with the “IPCC” in 2007, has been particularly committed to the protection of the environment and thus of mankind and in particular to the clarification of this extreme threat.
Climate change therefore undoubtedly poses an enormous threat to human life that people are afraid of and should rightly be afraid of. However, this anxiety was to be followed by appropriate political action in order to avert or mitigate the life-threatening dangers, which was implemented with increasing success under Biden and Harris.
If Donald Trump were to recognize this threat as real, the political opponent would also receive an instrument of anxiety-mongering that could harm him in his mendacious and strategic communication.
Therefore, he discredits and denies the climate crisis and simply tells his supporters that they do not have to be afraid of it.
The discrediting of the political opponent works very well due to the immunization of his supporters against dissenting opinions, facts, which has been progressing for years.
Trump has succeeded in bringing scientific facts and indisputable truths to the level of opinions, which of course they are not.
However, this is fundamental to deceiving his followers. As soon as the latter is convinced that they are only opinions, it becomes even easier to lead these opinions into arbitrariness and thus to carry out the broad-based reinterpretation into an alleged fraud.
These are inventions of the Democratic Party and others.
He thus discredits the political opponent, cheats his supporters of the truth and ultimately the possibility of making a free choice on the basis of facts.
At the same time, he immunizes his followers against other facts by creating anxiety by creating a “community of fate” that can only be saved by him.
Salvation requires the loyalty of the followers.
Someone who is not loyal to him will not be saved.
Such a “nest soiler” is excluded and separated from membership, as in a sect.
And that’s not all: this someone is punished by discrimination, threats of economic and political disadvantages, etc…
And here, too, with this separation and its consequences, he maintains an anxiety generation that does not miss its purpose for many.
The world of ideas created by fears keeps his followers trapped in it and sees the end of the world in front of him. For this core of his supporters, it is incomprehensible that someone can decide against Trump and thus for the end of the world. Arguments or facts can no longer reach this hard core of supporters.
Donald Trump has thus replaced facts and truth with loyalty, through which the end of the world is then averted in solidarity with the Savior.
Otherwise, as his fanatical supporters see it, the world will also end with the savior Trump and all Trump’s supporters will be existentially damaged by it.
Such a world of ideas with extremely high anxiety generation inevitably leads to a high level of aggressiveness and also violence, as could already be seen on January 6, 2021 in the storming of the Capitol in Washington.
He accepts that he is harming the entire USA as well as his supporters with all this for his strategic goal of climbing power.
The fact that this is an extreme case of cynical obsession with power and can ultimately cost people their lives does not seem to matter to Donald Trump in his power calculations.
Despite the devastating seriousness, a joke modified to Donald Trump:
“Trump drives onto the highway with one of his top models in a pleasant luxury car. When the lady wakes up after a while, she notices that the radio is announcing that a wrong-way driver is on the road. She therefore urges Trump to be more cautious. He rumbles back that he knows that, and it is “fake news”, because it is not one, but hundreds, thousands”.
Donald Trump is a wrong-way driver against thousands of scientific facts from a pure power calculation.
The level of incompetence, whether it is based on strategic deception of his followers or is simply stupidity, remains in both cases disconcerting and highly dangerous.
Alternative energy from wind, water, biomass and photovoltaics is already often much cheaper than generation from other sources, which are of course also needed in an energy mix.
It is now clear worldwide that investment decisions in the future will depend to a large extent on where cheap and environmentally friendly energy can be generated in large quantities. This is and will remain one of the economic megatrends in the coming decades.
America, in contrast to many other countries, has incredibly good scenic conditions and opportunities that can be used perfectly. This is a great advantage for the USA.
However, Donald Trump’s economic incompetence also extends to this field and is very dangerous for the further development of the USA, which would then fall behind worldwide.
According to various scientific studies, a very large number of people in the world are already dying every year due to climate change. Around nine million people die prematurely every year due to general human environmental pollution, i.e. mainly air pollution, but also due to pollution of water and soil.
Around 6.7 million people die prematurely from air pollution.
How far should the endangerment of the people in the USA and the concrete damage caused by the climate-related catastrophes that are becoming ever stronger until the supporters of Trump wake up and realize that they have been lied to and betrayed by him?
