27. Strong alliances are extremely important in World War III

America is a great sports nation. Americans understand very well how important a team is. Tim Waltz is a coach and team player like Kamala Harris, while Trump/Vance clearly embody the selfish side.

However, today’s problems can only be solved by a strong team and that should not be damaged by indescribably stupid politics.

At the NATO summit in Prague in 2002, NATO and its members set themselves the goal of bringing their defence spending uniformly to at least 2% of GDP. This goal was reaffirmed at the 2014 NATO summit in Wales, namely that NATO countries “aim to move towards the benchmark of two percent within ten years” and to invest at least 20 percent of this in “new large-scale equipment, including related research and development”.

It is absolutely crystal clear that the 2% does not build up any legal binding force and, like almost everything Trump does,he ist about this ignorant, i.e. not shaped by any profound knowledge and arrogant, because he does not ask and thus enters into a dialogue that could enlighten him about the actual situation.

The false accusations against the other NATO countries, “Pay your bills!”, which were presented as a public insult against this background, destroyed confidence in Trump’s ability to understand certain facts and to play in a team.

When then there was also the statement that Trump would not protect defaulting NATO members from a Russian attack, irritation was at a peak

Even the intellectual classification of “defaulting” is factually incorrect.

When he then added the statement that he would even encourage Russia to do “whatever they want”, he had revealed his attitude.

“The encouragement of invasions of our closest allies by murderous regimes is appalling and insane,” said government spokesman Andrew Bates. Instead of calling for wars and promoting “deranged chaos”, US President Joe Biden will “continue to strengthen American leadership”.

It must be understood that such a target cannot be achieved overnight due to the lack of industrial capacity. Military planning processes sometimes run for decades, as does the build-up of production capacities, which then have to be used to their full capacity on a permanent basis.

In the meantime, 23 of the 32 NATO member states have reached the target of 2% of GDP, although in view of the tense world situation, the other states are also closer to this target than a few years ago, and some are already well above this target.

None of what Trump thinks and says is, on closer inspection, correct or characterized by expertise.

The increasing fulfilment of the 2% target has nothing to do with Trump’s unobjective approach, but was a process set in motion since 2002 that was and is lengthy.

Trump makes us believe that his trampling manner would have improved something. The opposite is the case.

There is no trust in him and the incompetence cannot be put into words for someone who has held one of the most important offices in the world.

Strong alliances are important and if you were to ask Americans who won the most medals in France 2024, most would guess America. This is correct, but it can be supplemented by summarizing the table:

This summarized table makes it clear how strong the democratic states are in relation to China, because they have received a total of 496 medals and China only 91. How valuable Europe is as a strong alliance for the USA can be seen not only in the ratio of medals from 370 (Europe) to 126 (USA).

The same applies to the gross national product, research, and indescribably many other fields in which one’s positively reinforces and supports.

The fact that Trump, in his isolationist orientation, has promoted hard Brexit, i.e. Britain’s exit from the EU, through all these lies, and thus enormously damaged this partnership, is further evidence of his economic and political incompetence.

In the already existing Third World War, strong alliances are important. America and Europe cannot each take on China, Russia, North Korea, Iran and Venezuela and perhaps others alone. An alliance is an close relationship to achieve a specific goal. This does not exclude other interests. However, the connection is much closer than is generally assumed. China has good opportunities to covertly implement its support for the Russian war in Ukraine via North Korea. How close this support is can also be seen in the fact that more and more North Korean soldiers are now appearing on the Ukrainian front.

These countries are now in a special-purpose association, which can also be described as an alliance, which aims to destroy democracies from outside and within, worldwide.

The following is another table:

The gross domestic product in US $ worldwide in 2020 is approx. $84,971,650,000,000. The table shows figures in USD millions:

The economic power based on the volume generated still lies predominantly with the democracies. In this respect, Russia is economically a dwarf in terms of democracies with only about 3% share in proportion.

But China is also far below the economic strength of democracies at around 32% and is very dependent on these countries as their “largest customers”.

The economic power of the “Western world” (simplified assumption here) is thus three times greater than that of China and about 33 times greater than that of Russia. A strength whose deeper roots have been described here and which must now be further implemented.

But the most important is to develop the will of deception and the will to act strongly and united!

Therefore, globalization must be geared towards a qualitative view with regard to the mutual and partnership-based strengthening of all democracies that want to defend the high value of their form of government and their roots in understanding of human being.

This qualitative consideration can then be translated into quantitative markups in trade or other measures. However, this must be done with a sense of proportion and not with a sledgehammer, because no one can rule out how and whether Russia and China will be dissuaded from the path they have chosen. This must be worked towards resolutely.

In particular, the path of governing demanded by James Madison from the deep understanding of man has not yet been taken by far, which will not fail to have an external effect.

On the contrary, a great wave of democratization with greater freedom from anxiety was observed worldwide. People who also long for democracy in Russia, Iran and China have not simply disappeared. They, the many, are merely oppressed by the few who spread anxiety. They are the many who are afraid. As soon as they become aware of their power and anxiety is pushed back, they can achieve a lot.

First, a corrupt government in Bangladesh was overthrown by the courage of the protesters, with the corrupt Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fleeing the country. Now, also due to the deliberate and responsible role of the military, the Nobel Peace Prize winner Yunus is head of government. Rulers like Putin are afraid of this. This fear of losing his own power and not the concern for his country has driven him into this massive military conflict, which will now hopefully and increasingly eat him up from within, if democracies develop the necessary will.
