To repeat it briefly: Man is a relationship to himself, to others and to other things.
He establishes this relationship to himself, others and other things through thinking, which is itself communication.
Away from complicated theories, it is quite simple based on the Latin meaning of the word. “Communicare” means to communicate, to let participate, to do together, to unite. “communio” is simply community in the Latin meaning of the word.
So, community is created through communication. Man communicates his existence to himself through the relationship he creates through communication. He must solve the problems of his existence on the level of the relationship to his reality. Since his fate happens in time, which is the incessant separation from the present into an ever-growing past, he must establish the connection between these two realities of life through communication. In this sense, relationship is the bringing together of what is separated, a community, i.e. a communion that he himself is. Therefore, the border is an existential destination. This border is the present, in which everything is decided. It is a decision in the sense of thinking, acting and feeling. However, that which sinks into the realm of the past, i.e. into the realm of the dead, since it can no longer be changed, inevitably becomes alive in the inevitable communication through which we can only establish our human beeing as a whole.
Communication thus opens up our own world, our communion with ourselves and others and other things.
This beyond of the present, i.e. the personal past, has been declared irrational in various psychological approaches, which, however, is to be opened up with the methods of inevitably rational communication. This consideration made here is in no way psychologizing, since it is only intended to treat the structures of human existence as a relationship, which is therefore necessarily also communication and communion.
The beyond of the present as a future is also integrated into communication, which thus creates and captures its own reality. This also applies to religion, which brings in mind the otherworldly of a future time into the timeless and eternal.
The human being is so necessary connectedness and from the inevitable separation processes of life he is confronted with existential anxiety, which he cannot avoid, but which he must integrate into his existence and overcome. One could describe the overcoming of the anxiety of death as an experience of the border, which is man himself, as the cultural achievements of man through the history of his time.
This does not level religious faith in any way, but rather allows us to understand why the rational structure of man is relationship and that love and not hate, which divides, represents the highest form of this rationality and fulfills the longing of all human beings, namely, to experience connectedness, which wants deep eternity.
The communication of people in which community or separation is established has changed many times in history. Especially in the recent history of globalization, it has been characterized by the reduction of marginal costs, which has made it possible to communicate worldwide at the lowest cost via new technical tools such as the Internet and mobile phones.
For the understanding of these explanations, the inner context of self-assurance, i.e. the understanding access of the human being to his own existence and reality, which comes about through communication, is particularly important.
For the understanding of these explanations, it is equally important that the structures of the human being are inevitably determined by existential anxieties and that it is precisely through these anxieties that the approach can be gained as to how people can be manipulated and re-educated in the perception of their world and individual reality.
A knowledge of man that has world-historical relevance in two directions:
- For all those who are economically, politically and criminally powerful, anxiety is the means of domination and subjugation, of manipulation and imprisonment in imaginary worlds into which people are chased in order to seize power, exercise it and secure power.
- Democracy protects the individual from this power by limiting power and fighting against people who abuse such power. Therefore, democracy is not possible without freedom from anxiety. Therefore, the deeper reason for freedom is love, because it creates the connectedness of people against an encroaching power that creates anxiety.
Who can control communication controls communities, and this is one of the main goals of the 3. World War. In this sense Artificial Intelligence can make a hugh damage to Democracies, if they do not protect this central structure of human beings.
